El Nido is our home away from home. We hope it'll be yours too.
Glenn and Debbie at Francis Bay... our favorite beach
Glenn first visited St. John as a young man in 1980. Back then, one could rent a tent site at Cinnamon Bay for $4.00 a night. With a backpack, tent, and some clothes, he embarked on
It was in March of 2016, while sitting at the Beach Bar chatting with a couple that had just purchased a place on the island that lead us to realize that owning a place might not be as impossible as we had always thought.
We are now thrilled to call El Nido our home away from home. Ideally we would spend the entire winter here. Unfortunately, we are not in a position to do that quite yet. St. John, and El Nido, is our happy place and we want to be here as much as possible. It is our wildest dream come true and we want it to feel that way for our guests as well. El Nido means 'The Nest' in Spanish and we have taken care to make this our haven. To continue to allow us the privilege of owning on St. John we are sharing our nest with you and hope that you will find the same comfort and joy that we have when there. If this is your first trip to St. John, we know you'll fall in love with this beautiful island! If you are returning, you know the magic. We are so happy that El Nido can be an important part of your experience.
Glenn and Debbie

In 2002 he fell in love for a second time and in 2004 we married. With marriage brought an instant family with two young children and the requisite honeymoon was postponed until 2006. Although the island had changed considerably over the decades, the most important parts were still the same. Over the next decade Glenn and Debbie returned to their beloved island as often as possible, each time with dreams of staying longer.
a solo adventure. It ended up being the best adventure of his young life. This is when he fell in love, with the island, for the first time.
